Hi! I'm Katie Goodwin and I am studying sports journalism at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. Originally from Oregon, the sun in Arizona is always a bonus of living here as I love sports, especially golf and football and photography as well. Throughout my life, I have been an active member in the golf community, playing for two years in college and being an intern at the Junior Golf Association of Arizona where I found my love for taking pictures. One day I hope to have my own sports talk show to inspire the younger generations in sport and encourage women in the industry as well.
​In my life beyond golf, I love being an active sports fan of the Los Angeles Chargers and University of Oregon Ducks. On most weekends I can be found watching football, basketball, or any other sport that's on TV. I also have found that not only through my job with the Junior Golf Association that I enjoy taking pictures, but creating posts and sharing on social media. To me, it's a platform that people can use to share their unique thoughts and designs curated from their own point of view and I like to be a part of that atmosphere. 

At home I live with my two fluffball cats, Malia and Duster and spend my time working out, hiking, reading or spending time with friends. I personally do not like to be sitting for more than a few minutes and always find myself searching for my next thing, whatever it may be.
